EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS)
EBSCO EDS is an online research tool that "pulls together" many external sources so that they can be explorer using a single search box . In other words, rather than searching several sources, you can do and EDS search and get a single list of results coming from various sources. In fact, you could think of EDS as the Library's version of Google.
EDS is available to all Library users on- and off-campus. Authentication with your ISU network ID will be required.

The
EEA (Erasmus Experiment Archive) is a database of ESA funded or
co-funded experiments, covering a wide range of scientific areas,
performed on space platforms and in microgravity ground-based facilities
over the past 30 years.
Indexes scholarly and general interest titles, as well as government documents and reports. Covers the human impact on the environment. Highlights connections between the environment and disciplines like education, law, health and technology. Subject coverage includes environmental science, climate change, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, and recycling.
Search journals, eBooks, and research reports on sustainability. Explore environmental stresses and their impact on society. Subject coverage includes biological Sciences, business, economics, ecology, environmental sciences, law, public health, and urban studies.
PubMed comprises citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. PubMed citations and abstracts include the fields of medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, and preclinical sciences. PubMed also provides access to additional relevant Web sites and links to the other NCBI molecular biology resources.
NASA Human Research Roadmap HRP
The Human Research Program (HRP) investigates and mitigates the highest risks to human health and performance, providing essential countermeasures and technologies for human space exploration.
The HRP utilizes an Integrated Research Plan (IRP) to identify the approach and research activities planned to address these risks, which are assigned to specific Elements within the program. The Human Research Roadmap (HRR) is the web-based tool for communicating the IRP content, Evidence Reports, external reviews of HRP research, and general HRP organizational information.
NASA's
Life Sciences Data Archive (LSDA) is an active archive that provides
information and data from 1961 (Mercury Project) through current flight
and flight analog studies (International Space Station, Shuttle, bed
rest studies, etc.) involving human, plant and animal subjects.
Contains
bibliographic citations and abstracts to technical reports from NASA
collections as well as external collections not maintained by NASA.
Subjects covered include aeronautics, space science, chemistry,
engineering, geosciences, life sciences, mathematics, computer sciences,
and physics. Includes links to full text of reports available digitally
in pdf or PostScript formats.ScienceDirect is Elsevier's online solution to search accross Elsevier's 3,800 journals and more than 35,000 book titles.
SpringerLink offers electronic and printed literature from Springer-Verlag, a preeminent scientific publisher. Provides access to access to millions of scientific documents from journals, books, series, protocols and reference works published by Springer.
