Accessing online resources
AUTHENTICATIONTo ensure that only users belonging to an institution that has an active subscription to the resource can access it, suppliers or publishers require us to authenticate before we can view them. For resources that require single-sign-on, when you click on the link in our catalogue, on reading lists, or from the database listings, you will be taken to the ISU login page where you can login with your ISU username and password. Or, sign in on the Library website (top right corner) when you reach the Library website, for a smooth use and navigation. Please note that you should never enter your University username and password directly into a login page on a supplier or publisher website. |
ACCEPTABLE USE
The
International Space University Library has contractual agreements with
several different providers giving you access to a variety of electronic
resources. These agreements regulate what rights you have as a library
patron.
Each provider has its own set of rules in their agreement. Any breach against these agreements, on your part, may be detrimental to access rights for the entire university. By using common sense and avoiding improper use you can help protect all ISU Library users' access to electronic resources.
