STUDY PLACES
Library study spaces are located on the second floor of the building and contains over 40 single-and-group study places across the Library. There are different types of furniture. For example, some places are designated for concentrated working and some for working in groups, with whiteboards. All the study places are fitted with plenty of sockets.
The Library is usually a quiet zone that allows quiet conversations and you can expect some level of background noise. However, exam periods and busy studying times require silence within the Library.
There is no group work in the main Library study space, but there are closed group study areas on the first floor within the Library.
Help us to provide a welcoming and hygienic environment for all our users. Only bottled drinks and small cold snacks (i.e. chocolate bars) are allowed in the Library.
ACCESSIBLE STUDY
Library spaces are accessible for people with disabilities by using the elevator outside the Library.
MAKING COPIES
You are welcome to use the photocopier. Printing and scanning is free with your ISU access card.
RECYCLING
Most
of our bins are dedicated to recycling dry paper, packaging, and empty
cups and bottles. Just one cup of unwanted coffee dropped into a bin can
contaminate the entire binful, which all then has to go to landfill.
Please take any leftover drink with you, and drop any unwanted food and
teabags into appropriate bins. If everyone followed these simple rules,
we could recycle 100% of our waste!
