As a student or employee at the International Space University you have access to library e-resources 24/7. This guide will provide you with the information you need to access articles, e-books and databases.

Students and employees at the International Space University get access to library e-resources with their ISU-ID. Sign In on the Library website (top right corner) or, when you click a link to one of our e-resources, a box will appear where you sign in with your ISU-ID and password.

The International Space University Library has contractual agreements with several different providers giving you access to a variety of electronic resources. These agreements regulate what rights you have as a library patron.
Each provider has its own set of rules in their agreement. Any breach against these agreements, on your part, may be detrimental to access rights for the entire university. By using common sense and avoiding improper use you can help protect all ISU Library users' access to electronic resources.

Library e-resources are protected by copyright.
International Space University Library e-resources including ISU Team Projects, eBooks, databases and their contents (including images, graphics, indexing and abstracts); audio-only recordings, audio-visual works; artworks; musical works; books; journal articles are in most cases, protected by copyright and are subject to licence agreements between the University and content vendors ("Publishers") that may place restrictions on how you use them.
Guidelines in the use of electronic resources
- The material may not be used for financial gain,
- Copying or downloading is only permissible for strictly personal use. You may print, copy, photocopy or download any electronic media only for your own personal, non-commercial, academic study and research,
- You are not allowed to copy, share, download or post e-resource content including onto mailing lists, bulletin boards, websites or social media,
- You are not allowed sell, rent, license, supply, assign or otherwise authorize the use of any e-resources by any other person or organization,
- For all non-personal use permission must be acquired from the copyright owner,
- You, the end user, are required to read the information regarding the electronic media providers' usage rights, usually accessible on their homepage,
- You are required to list the source of any used material in your documentation,
- Systematic or automatic copying or downloading of entire journal issues or books is strictly forbidden,
- The selling, distribution or forwarding of copyrighted material through web pages, email or on print to sources outside of the International Space University is strictly forbidden,
- You may not change or distort the material at its source,
- Plagiarism is not allowed.

Frequently asked questions about e-resources
You have to be officially registered as an ISU student to get access. Once you have completed all steps of registration, you will have to wait approximately 24 hours to have access to library e-resources with your ISU-ID.
Try one of the following measures:
- Clear the cache memory and history in your web browser
- Try another web browser
If none of these suggestions work, contact us via e-mail.
The Library is not permitted to provide non ISU students and staff with access from home to all our online resources because of the terms of the licence agreements with publishers.
