Hibernation offers many changes in physiological, psychological and habitational aspects that offer a very important prospect for log space travel. This report explores the effects of space on the human body. Followed by a general description of hibernation in natural kingdom and the changes that undergone during hibernation that have potential use for humans for long space travel. Finishing with an analysis of current research that points out to the possibility of human hibernation in the future. |
