Description: | As our current knowledge towards Venus Surface exploration is very limited. This chapter presents the literature review of the past Venus surface mission challenges and showcase some present subsystem options with respect to rover’s system and understanding future missions. The present technological options such as materials, electronics, power systems, cooling systems, scientific instruments are analyzed. Additionally, this report also scrutinizes the engineering challenges faced by the previous Venus surface missions and suggesting different platforms for surface exploration with a goal of developing a rover for the surface exploration which could be beneficial for future science-based missions bringing the operation of robots on the Venusian Surface into the range of feasibility. |
