Description: | The use and overuse of concrete poses many problems, both from an ecological point of view, with the destruction of many ecosystems and the impossibility of recycling it once it has been demolished, from a cultural point of view, with the standardization of the architectural landscape with a single construction method imposed by this material. Fortunately, alternatives exist, such as wood, hemp or baked or raw Earth, but what about the populations living in an arid climate? These people, whose population increases every year due to global warming, have material at their disposal, desert sand. However, it is too delicate and too round to be used as a building material. It is where the best use for our 3D printing machine on Earth lies, in making available to humankind a resource that is ubiquitous but previously unsuitable for construction. Through the judicious use of aesthetic and practical communication methods in the furniture industry and applying methods that make the human-machine interface an ergonomic and intuitive platform for the user, we will succeed in making this technology, and its use is known throughout all the regions concerned. Moreover, perhaps this terrestrial use will allow the machine to be developed all the better for its goal of building on the Moon or Mars. |
