Building on the vision for coordinated human and robotic exploration of our solar system established in The global exploration strategy : the frame work for coordination, released in May 2007, space agencies participating in the International Space Exploration Coordination Group are developing The Global Exploration Roadmap. The Global Exploration Roadmap reflects the international effort to define feasible and sustainable exploration pathways to the Moon, near-Earth asteroids, and Mars. Beginning with the International Space Station (ISS), this first iteration of the roadmap examines possible pathways in the next 25 years"--P. [ii].
