Description: | Team Project AMBIEnT arose from the urgent need to connect people living in remote areas while preserving the environment. It particularly concentrates on the Brazilian Amazon Region with a future capability for global expansion to other remote areas. Project AMBIEnt is to provide internet to its end users through a constellation of microsatellites in Low Earth Orbit along with ground infrastructure and also to set up environmental monitoring with a combination of static and mobile sensors. Policy and law considerations are included for frequency management, network and system licensing, and registration, space debris mitigation, and, the use and reuse of data and its constraints. |
