Description: | Focusing on Nigeria, this project set out to examine the possibilities of using dual-use space applications as security enablers. Special attention is paid to the Boko Haram terrorist group and the Niger Delta militancy. The project used the descriptive and analytical approaches and came to a conclusion that dual-use space can significantly assist in addressing the Niger Delta militancy and the Boko Haram terrorists threat. Similarly, the study has also discovered that dual-use space can be used to detect environmental problems early to allow for prompt response to avoid militant agitations that lead to violence. |
