Description: | This project serves as a baseline for edge of the solar system missions using CubeSats, it provides spacecraft design feasibility analysis based on trade-off studies of seven essential subsystems including power, propulsion, communication, structures, GNC, thermal and ground control, which demonstrates utilization of commercial off-the-shelf component for interplanetary and near interstellar missions. This report concludes by summarizing appropriate CubeSat technologies, their baselines TRLs, and their development scope in the next 10 years, which will further enable success near interstellar mission by the year 2030. |
